For the Crust:
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
