For the Crust:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, cream, eggs, sugar, flour, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Stir in corn kernels until evenly distributed.
- Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until center is set and top is golden brown.
- Let cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
