For the Crust:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 3 medium heirloom tomatoes, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Slice the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop out the flesh. Cut into thick slices.
- On a platter, alternate layers of avocado, mozzarella, and tomato slices.
- Season with salt and pepper, then garnish with fresh basil leaves. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
