For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Crackers or baguette slices for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place brie wheel on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small oven-safe dish.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, honey, balsamic vinegar, and butter. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the brie, then sprinkle with pecans. Bake for 12-15 minutes until brie is soft and gooey.
  4. Remove from oven, top with pomegranate seeds, and serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.
