For the Crust:
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Crackers or baguette slices for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place brie wheel on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small oven-safe dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, honey, balsamic vinegar, and butter. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens slightly.
- Spoon the cranberry sauce over the brie, then sprinkle with pecans. Bake for 12-15 minutes until brie is soft and gooey.
- Remove from oven, top with pomegranate seeds, and serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.
