For the Crust:
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the brie wheel in a small oven-safe dish or cast-iron skillet.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until cranberries burst and sauce thickens (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in orange zest and cinnamon.
- In a small bowl, mix chopped walnuts and honey until coated.
- Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the brie. Drizzle the walnut honey mixture on top in a swirl pattern.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until brie is soft and melted. Serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.
