Description

A decadent fusion dessert combining creamy cheesecake with a sweet, nutty baklava topping.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined.
  3. Pour cheesecake filling over crust and bake for 45-50 minutes, until center is set. Let cool completely.
  4. Combine walnuts, pistachios, honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and water in a saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes, then spread over cooled cheesecake.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
