For the Crust:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 5.2 oz Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and Boursin cheese until smooth and well blended.
- Shape the cheese mixture into a log on a serving plate, using a spatula or your hands to form an even shape.
- In a small saucepan, combine dried cranberries, chopped walnuts, honey, balsamic vinegar, and black pepper. Heat over medium-low, stirring until the mixture is warm and slightly thickened.
- Spoon the cranberry walnut glaze over the cheese log, spreading it evenly to coat the top and sides.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
