A magical holiday appetizer that’s festive, fun, and full of cheer.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Boil potatoes until tender, then mash and mix with cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form mixture into small tree-shaped bites and press broccoli florets on top to resemble Christmas trees.
  4. Brush lightly with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
