For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden-brown and nutty in aroma, about 5 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir in dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix just until combined.
- Fold in chopped pistachios and almonds. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the batter and use a knife to swirl it through. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden and the center is set. Let cool before cutting into squares.
