Description

A blondie that breaks all the rules. Deeply nutty brown butter, tangy feta, and a luscious salted caramel swirl create a unique and irresistible dessert.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, browned and cooled
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Gently mix in crumbled feta cheese.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over top and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set. Let cool completely before slicing.
