Description

Gooey blondies enriched with nutty brown butter, dotted with tangy feta and swirled with salted caramel.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, browned and cooled
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in crumbled feta cheese, then spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the top and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set. Let cool before slicing.
