For the Crust:
- 200g feta cheese
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup nuts (such as almonds or pistachios)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Place the feta cheese in a food processor and blend until creamy and smooth.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey over medium heat until it begins to darken in color and take on a burnt aroma. Remove from heat and stir in the chili flakes.
- In a separate pan, toast the nuts until golden. Let cool and chop roughly to make a brittle.
- Spread the whipped feta on a serving plate. Drizzle with the burnt honey and chili oil, and sprinkle with the nut brittle.
- Serve with fresh bread or crackers.
