A delightful and flavorful appetizer featuring whipped feta topped with burnt honey, chili oil, and a crunchy nut brittle.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup nuts (such as almonds or pistachios)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place the feta cheese in a food processor and blend until creamy and smooth.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the honey over medium heat until it begins to darken in color and take on a burnt aroma. Remove from heat and stir in the chili flakes.
  3. In a separate pan, toast the nuts until golden. Let cool and chop roughly to make a brittle.
  4. Spread the whipped feta on a serving plate. Drizzle with the burnt honey and chili oil, and sprinkle with the nut brittle.
  5. Serve with fresh bread or crackers.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
