Description

Festive skewers of caramelized Brussels sprouts glazed with a sweet and nutty walnut honey, perfect for holiday appetizers or side dishes.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, warm honey and balsamic vinegar. Stir in walnuts and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Thread roasted Brussels sprouts onto skewers. Drizzle with walnut honey glaze before serving.
