Description

A sweet, savory, and spicy side dish featuring crispy Brussels sprouts, tangy feta, crunchy walnuts, and a fiery honey drizzle.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast for 20-25 minutes until caramelized and tender, stirring halfway.
  3. While roasting, toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant.
  4. In a small saucepan, warm honey and red pepper flakes over low heat for 2-3 minutes, then stir in lemon juice.
  5. Arrange roasted Brussels sprouts on a platter, top with feta and walnuts, and drizzle with hot honey mixture.
