Description

A sweet and tangy side dish featuring crispy, caramelized Brussels sprouts tossed in a honey-balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until sprouts are tender and caramelized.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, and garlic. Simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  4. Toss roasted Brussels sprouts with the glaze and optional walnuts. Serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
