For the Crust:
- 1 lb cremini mushrooms, cleaned and halved
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and cook until browned and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic and smoked paprika, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer mushrooms to a serving dish. Top with crumbled feta and toasted walnuts.
- In a small bowl, mix honey and red pepper flakes. Drizzle over the mushrooms and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
