For the Crust:
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp. Rub each slice with the garlic clove while still warm.
- In a small saucepan, warm the honey over low heat. Stir in chili flakes and let infuse for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Place burrata on a plate and gently tear into pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
- To assemble, top each crostini with a piece of burrata, drizzle with chili-honey, and sprinkle with chopped pistachios. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
