For the Crust:
- 1 lb potato gnocchi
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the top, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, combine the cooked gnocchi and cream mixture. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
