Description

A creamy, comforting dish featuring tender gnocchi baked to perfection with a golden cheese crust.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the top, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, combine the cooked gnocchi and cream mixture. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
