Description

Beautiful, flaky puff pastry roses filled with creamy Brie, tart cranberry sauce, and a drizzle of honey and fresh thyme.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry sheet. Cut into 2-inch wide strips, then cut each strip into 4-inch long rectangles.
  3. Place a slice of Brie and a small spoonful of cranberry sauce at one end of each rectangle. Roll up from the filling end to form a rose shape.
  4. Arrange roses on baking sheet. Brush with egg wash. Bake 15-18 minutes until golden and puffed.
  5. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme before serving warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
