Description

A festive and elegant appetizer featuring toasted baguette slices topped with creamy brie, sweet-tart cranberry sauce, and crunchy walnuts.

For the Crust:

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  2. Top each toasted slice with a slice of brie. Return to oven for 3-4 minutes until brie is melted.
  3. Spoon cranberry sauce over the melted brie, sprinkle with chopped walnuts and fresh thyme. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy!
