Festive, flaky puff pastry stars filled with creamy brie, sweet cranberry sauce, and crunchy pistachios—perfect for holiday appetizers.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out stars.
  3. Place half the stars on the baking sheet. Top each with a cube of brie, a small spoonful of cranberry sauce, and a sprinkle of pistachios.
  4. Brush the edges of the stars with egg wash, then place another star on top. Press edges gently to seal.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.
