For the Crust:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out stars.
- Place half the stars on the baking sheet. Top each with a cube of brie, a small spoonful of cranberry sauce, and a sprinkle of pistachios.
- Brush the edges of the stars with egg wash, then place another star on top. Press edges gently to seal.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.
