For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a 10×12-inch rectangle.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and honey until smooth. Spread evenly over the puff pastry.
- Sprinkle chopped cranberries and pistachios evenly over the cream cheese mixture.
- Tightly roll the pastry from the long side into a log. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Place pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
