For the Crust:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (for rolling)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, dried cranberries, walnuts, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball using your hands.
- Place the chopped parsley on a plate. Roll each cheese ball in the parsley until evenly coated.
- Arrange the cheese balls on a serving platter. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up before serving.
