A delightful dessert featuring buttery shortbread layered with tart cranberries, creamy white chocolate, and crunchy almonds.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle cranberries, white chocolate chips, and almonds over the top, pressing gently into the dough.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
