Description

Flaky puff pastry filled with a rich, creamy spinach and cream cheese mixture, baked until golden and delicious.

For the Crust:

  • 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, spinach, Parmesan, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut each into 4 equal squares. Place a spoonful of spinach mixture in the center of each square.
  4. Fold pastry over filling to form triangles, pressing edges with a fork to seal. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
