For the Crust:
- 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons mixed fresh herbs (such as basil, thyme, and parsley), finely chopped
- Crusty bread or crackers for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a food processor or blender, combine ricotta, 1 tablespoon olive oil, lemon juice, and sea salt. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the honey and red pepper flakes for 3-4 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In another small bowl, mix the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil with the chopped fresh herbs.
- Drizzle the chili honey and herb oil over the whipped ricotta. Serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers.
