For the Crust:
- 1 large flatbread or naan bread
- 4 oz brie cheese, thinly sliced
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup pecans, toasted and roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Arrange brie slices evenly over the flatbread, then top with pear slices and dried cranberries.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the flatbread is crispy and the brie is melted.
- While baking, toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove flatbread from oven, sprinkle with toasted pecans, and drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze.
- Garnish with fresh thyme, season with salt and pepper, slice, and serve warm.
