Description

A festive and flavorful flatbread featuring creamy brie, tart cranberries, crunchy walnuts, and a sweet-spicy cinnamon apple hot pepper spread.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread or naan
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup apple jelly
  • 1 tbsp hot pepper jelly
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix apple jelly, hot pepper jelly, and cinnamon until smooth to create the spread.
  3. Spread the cinnamon apple hot pepper mixture evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Arrange brie slices on top of the spread, then sprinkle with dried cranberries and toasted walnuts.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the flatbread is crispy and the brie is melted.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh thyme if desired, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
