For the Crust:
- 1 large flatbread or naan
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
- 1/2 cup apple jelly
- 1 tbsp hot pepper jelly
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix apple jelly, hot pepper jelly, and cinnamon until smooth to create the spread.
- Spread the cinnamon apple hot pepper mixture evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Arrange brie slices on top of the spread, then sprinkle with dried cranberries and toasted walnuts.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the flatbread is crispy and the brie is melted.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh thyme if desired, slice, and serve warm.
