A gourmet flatbread featuring crispy crust, creamy melted brie, sweet homemade pear jam, and a crunchy pistachio dust topping.

For the Crust:
- 1 large flatbread or naan
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1 ripe pear, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp honey
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, combine pear, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes until jam-like, then let cool.
- Spread pear jam evenly over flatbread, top with brie slices, and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crispy.
- While baking, toast pistachios in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes, then crush into a coarse dust.
- Remove flatbread from oven, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with pistachio dust and thyme, season with salt, and serve warm.
