Description

A gourmet flatbread featuring crispy crust, creamy melted brie, sweet homemade pear jam, and a crunchy pistachio dust topping.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread or naan
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 ripe pear, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine pear, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes until jam-like, then let cool.
  3. Spread pear jam evenly over flatbread, top with brie slices, and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crispy.
  4. While baking, toast pistachios in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes, then crush into a coarse dust.
  5. Remove flatbread from oven, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with pistachio dust and thyme, season with salt, and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
