For the Crust:
- 1 large flatbread or naan
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Sea salt to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Place flatbread on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
- In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium-low. Add garlic slices and cook until golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- In another small bowl, mix honey, lemon zest, and 1 tbsp lemon juice to create lemon honey.
- Place burrata in the center of the warm flatbread. Drizzle with garlic oil, then spoon lemon honey over the top.
- Sprinkle with toasted almonds, red pepper flakes, and torn basil leaves. Season with sea salt.
- Slice and serve immediately while warm.
