For the Crust:
- 1 bunch asparagus (about 20 spears, trimmed)
- 8 slices prosciutto
- 1 ball burrata cheese
- 1 lemon (for zesting)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto, starting at the base and spiraling upward. Place on the baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with black pepper. Bake for 15-18 minutes until prosciutto is crispy and asparagus is tender.
- While baking, zest the lemon and tear the burrata ball into pieces.
- Arrange the baked asparagus on a serving platter, top with burrata pieces, and sprinkle with lemon zest. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
