For the Crust:
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Zest of 1 orange
- 6 oz dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then add sugar, honey, and cream. Stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and fold in almonds, pistachios, flour, and orange zest.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 3 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool, then dip edges in melted dark chocolate.
