For the Crust:
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 10 sheets phyllo dough
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Combine chopped dates and almonds in a bowl. Lay a sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and repeat.
- Place a spoonful of date and almond mixture at one end of the phyllo and roll tightly into a cigar shape. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
