Description

Delicious and crispy baklava rolls filled with dates and almonds, drizzled in sweet syrup.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 10 sheets phyllo dough

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Combine chopped dates and almonds in a bowl. Lay a sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and repeat.
  3. Place a spoonful of date and almond mixture at one end of the phyllo and roll tightly into a cigar shape. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
