For the Crust:
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lay out phyllo sheets and brush with melted butter, stacking them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.
- Mix honey with cinnamon and chopped pistachios. In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, orange blossom water, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Break apart the baked phyllo into pieces and layer with the pistachio mixture and ricotta in serving glasses or bowls.
