A festive and easy-to-make appetizer featuring creamy cheese shaped into adorable trees, coated with crunchy pistachios and tangy dried cranberries for a holiday treat.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pretzel sticks or rosemary sprigs for stems

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Using your hands, shape the cheese mixture into small cone shapes to resemble trees.
  3. Roll each cheese tree in the chopped pistachios and cranberries, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Insert a pretzel stick or small rosemary sprig into the base of each tree to form the trunk.
  5. Arrange the cheese trees on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
