Description

A unique and delightful ice cream that combines the tanginess of feta with the sweetness of honey, complemented by crispy phyllo shards.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 200g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 sheets phyllo pastry
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a blender, combine feta cheese, heavy cream, honey, and milk. Blend until smooth and well mixed.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a creamy consistency. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush each phyllo sheet with melted butter, stack them, and cut into shards. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Serve as a topping for the ice cream.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
