Crispy, golden funnel cake bites perfect for snacking or dessert.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add milk, egg, and vanilla extract, then whisk until smooth.
  3. Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Using a small spoon or piping bag, drop small dollops of batter into the hot oil.
  5. Fry for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar while warm and serve immediately.

Notes
