Description

Tender cod strips pan-seared in a rich garlic butter sauce, served with a zesty sweet chili lime dipping sauce for a quick and flavorful meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb cod fillets, cut into strips
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season cod strips with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cod strips and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, then drizzle over the cooked cod strips.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and cilantro to make the dipping sauce.
  5. Serve cod strips with the sweet chili lime sauce and lime wedges on the side.
