Garlic Butter Tortellini in Creamy Sauce with Beef, Italian Sausage & Spinach
Description
A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring cheese tortellini, savory beef and Italian sausage, all coated in a luscious garlic butter cream sauce with fresh spinach.
Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Brown ground beef and Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking into crumbles. Drain excess fat.
- Cook tortellini according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked tortellini, beef, sausage, and spinach to the sauce. Stir until spinach wilts and everything is heated through. Serve immediately.
