These Golden Caramel Skull Brownies offer a delightful twist on traditional brownies with rich caramel swirls and a fun shape, perfect for any festive occasion.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a skull-shaped baking pan.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, then remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and blend well. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, drizzle with caramel sauce, then top with the remaining batter.
  4. Use a toothpick to swirl the caramel into the batter slightly.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool before removing from the pan and serving.
