For the Crust:
- 2 ripe but firm pears, cored and sliced into rounds
- 1 ball burrata cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups arugula
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add pear slices and cook until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over pears. Drizzle with honey and cook another 1-2 minutes until caramelized. Remove from heat.
- On serving plates, layer arugula, caramelized pear slices, and torn burrata. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, sprinkle walnuts, and season with salt and pepper.
