For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook penne according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
- Add cooked penne to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Slice chicken and serve over the pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
