For the Crust:
- 1 block (8 oz) feta cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- 1 loaf rustic bread, sliced and toasted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the feta block in the center of a small baking dish.
- Arrange the cherry tomatoes and olives around the feta. Sprinkle minced garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes over everything.
- Drizzle olive oil evenly over the feta, tomatoes, and olives.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the feta is soft and golden on top.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately with toasted rustic bread slices.
