For the Crust:
- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup mixed winter berries (such as cranberries, blackberries, and raspberries)
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Drizzle over pears.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until pears are tender and caramelized.
- Remove from oven and top with winter berries and crumbled blue cheese.
- Garnish with fresh mint if desired and serve warm.
