For the Crust:

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup mixed winter berries (such as cranberries, blackberries, and raspberries)
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Drizzle over pears.
  3. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until pears are tender and caramelized.
  4. Remove from oven and top with winter berries and crumbled blue cheese.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint if desired and serve warm.
