Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 lb salmon fillet, skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 avocado, pitted and peeled
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add salmon cubes, toss to coat, and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes (reserving marinade) and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Pour reserved marinade into skillet, simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened, then remove from heat.
- In a blender or food processor, combine avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth to make the avocado crema.
- Serve salmon bites drizzled with avocado crema, sprinkled with sesame seeds and green onions.
