Tender salmon cubes glazed in a sweet-savory honey garlic sauce, served with a creamy avocado crema and sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds for a quick, flavorful meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add salmon cubes, toss to coat, and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes (reserving marinade) and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Pour reserved marinade into skillet, simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened, then remove from heat.
  3. In a blender or food processor, combine avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth to make the avocado crema.
  4. Serve salmon bites drizzled with avocado crema, sprinkled with sesame seeds and green onions.
