For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 ripe pears, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry on the prepared sheet. Using a bowl as a guide, cut a large circle, then cut out a smaller inner circle to form a wreath shape.
- Arrange pear slices in overlapping circles around the wreath. Sprinkle with walnuts, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Drizzle with honey and lemon juice.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with egg wash. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden and puffed.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then drizzle with additional honey before serving.
