Description

A stunning, festive tart with sweet pears, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of honey, arranged in a beautiful wreath shape.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 ripe pears, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry on the prepared sheet. Using a bowl as a guide, cut a large circle, then cut out a smaller inner circle to form a wreath shape.
  3. Arrange pear slices in overlapping circles around the wreath. Sprinkle with walnuts, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Drizzle with honey and lemon juice.
  4. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg wash. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden and puffed.
  5. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then drizzle with additional honey before serving.
