Description

A savory and slightly sweet skillet dish featuring tender chicken thighs cooked with fresh cranberries and a spicy honey glaze.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in cranberries, honey, and hot sauce. Cook for 3-4 minutes until cranberries begin to burst and sauce thickens.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning the hot honey cranberry sauce over the top. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
