For the Crust:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 1/3 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle. Brush with hot honey, then sprinkle evenly with chopped pistachios and a pinch of flaky salt.
- Cut the pastry into 1-inch wide strips. Twist each strip several times and place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and puffed. Drizzle with additional hot honey while warm. Serve immediately.
