Description

Flaky, buttery puff pastry twists coated in sweet and spicy hot honey and topped with crunchy pistachios for an irresistible sweet-savory treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1/3 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle. Brush with hot honey, then sprinkle evenly with chopped pistachios and a pinch of flaky salt.
  3. Cut the pastry into 1-inch wide strips. Twist each strip several times and place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and puffed. Drizzle with additional hot honey while warm. Serve immediately.
