For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion for serving
  • Mayonnaise or ranch dressing for spreading

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, ranch seasoning, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  5. Toast burger buns lightly if desired. Spread mayonnaise or ranch dressing on buns.
  6. Assemble burgers by placing patties on buns and topping with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Serve immediately.
