Description

Elegant, bite-sized appetizers featuring sweet pears, creamy Brie, and crunchy pecans, all drizzled with a warm maple glaze.

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe but firm pears, cored and diced
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 24 mini phyllo cups
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange mini phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced pears, cubed Brie, and chopped pecans. Spoon mixture evenly into phyllo cups.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, melted butter, and cinnamon. Drizzle over filled cups.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until Brie is melted and edges are golden. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired. Serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
