For the Crust:
- 2 ripe but firm pears, cored and diced
- 4 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 24 mini phyllo cups
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange mini phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine diced pears, cubed Brie, and chopped pecans. Spoon mixture evenly into phyllo cups.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, melted butter, and cinnamon. Drizzle over filled cups.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until Brie is melted and edges are golden. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired. Serve warm.
